Requesting a Court Hearing: If you believe a speed camera citation was issued in error or would like a judge to review your case, you have the right to request a court hearing. Contesting a citation is a normal part of the process, and residents are encouraged to use this option if they have questions or concerns.

If you submit your request by the date listed on your mailed notice, the Town and its vendor will request a court hearing on your behalf, and no direct action with the court is required at that time. After the date listed on your notice has passed, you may still request a hearing by contacting the District Court of Maryland directly, subject to court rules and deadlines.
