Weekly Crime Report 10/07-14/2016

10/07/2016 at 8:40 pm, Cpl. Ignowski responded to the 5800 block of Quebec Street for a report of a theft of a political 'Trump' campaign sign.  The suspect is described as a white male in his 30's driving a dark colored mini van.

10/08/2016 at 11:53 am, Pfc. Hollowell and officers responded to the Washington First Bank located at 6329 Greenbelt Road, Berwyn Heights, Maryland 20740 for a reported bank robbery.  Upon officers arrival, the victims advised that an unknown suspect entered the bank and brandished a handgun.  The suspect then demanded money from the teller. Victims complied and gave the suspect United States currency.  The suspect then fled on foot toward the Verizon store located at 6315 Greenbelt Road making good on escape.  A canine track was conducted and ended at the 6300 Block of Greenbelt Road.  A neighborhood canvass was conducted with negative results.

10/09/2016 at 8:50 am, Cpl. Ignowski responded to the 5600 block of Osage Street for a report of a missing 15 y/o, w/f who did not tell her parents her whereabouts.  She later returned the next morning.

10/10/2016 at 9:00 pm, Cpl. Roberson found a wallet at 7-11 on Edmonston Road.  The owner was notified and said item was returned.

10/12/2016 at 1:55 pm, Cpl. Krouse responded to the 6100 block of Greenbelt Road for a report of a hit and run.
