The Town of Berwyn Heights and the Berwyn Heights Police Department welcome back students to their first day of school on August 20th, 2012. For the safety of the students and town residents, police officers will have a significant increase in presence. It is important to remember that the school safety speed limit is 15 mph. Police officers will be conducting traffic stops of those violating state and local traffic laws. Police will be issuing tickets; there will be no warnings during the first two weeks of school. Please be sure to keep your eyes open for young children walking to school, slow down, and drive safely.
