The Town of Berwyn Heights is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide a comprehensive, turnkey Automated Red-Light and Speed Camera Enforcement Program. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is part of the Town’s routine review and update of long-standing service contracts and reflects the Town’s commitment to roadway safety, transparency, and competitive procurement.
The selected vendor will support the Town’s automated enforcement efforts, which are authorized under Maryland law and Town ordinance and are designed to improve pedestrian and roadway safety, particularly in school zones and other high-risk areas. The full RFP is listed at the bottom of this page.
Scope of Services
The scope of services includes, but is not limited to:

Automated speed, red-light, and stop-sign enforcement systems

Installation, operation, and maintenance of enforcement equipment

Citation processing, customer service, and reporting

Secure data management and compliance with applicable State and local laws
Vendors are encouraged to propose modern, integrated enforcement technologies that improve system efficiency and reliability.
