Understanding School Bus Laws

As children return to school and school buses return to our roadways, it is important that we all understand school bus laws. Not following them can result in a hefty fine and points on your driving record, but more importantly, the unnecessary loss of a life.

• Be prepared to stop when you see yellow lights flash
• Stop & remain stopped when red lights flash and until the bus proceeds
• Be mindful of blind spots as students board/exit buses
