Town Clerk Job Opening

The Town of Berwyn Heights is accepting applications for the position of Town Clerk in our Administration Department. Berwyn Heights is a quiet residential community of 3,100 residents located in northern Prince George’s County.
This is a full-time position supervised by the Town Manager. Key responsibilities for this position include preparing, disseminating, and maintaining official minutes of the Town Council, managing official Town records, social media platforms, and video streaming on BHTV channels. Clerk will also coordinate the bi-annual Town Council election, publication of the monthly newsletter, and liaison as the communications coordinator between the Town and our contracted media vendors. The salary for this position is $53,397 with an excellent benefits package including, participation in the State of Maryland pension program. Applicants selected for employment will be required to consent to a background investigation and pre-employment screenings.
