Town of Berwyn Heights Halloween 2020 Updates

The Town’s official celebration of Halloween is trunk-or-treat, usually held in mid-
October. This is CANCELED for 2020.
-The Town does not officially host or organize trick or treating, so it will not be
canceled.
-The CDC has recently announced specific recommendations for Halloween. They
recommend against trunk-or-treating and trick-or-treating and label those as high-risk
activities.

-We encourage our residents to follow CDC recommendations. These are posted on the
Town’s website too.
-The County is also discouraging trick-or-treating.
-To celebrate the holiday, the recreation council is organized a virtual costume contest
and yard decorating contest. Check your bulletin for details!
