Public Hearing – Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 7 pm
The Town Council will be holding a public hearing on approving the Berwyn Heights Volunteer Fire Department’s financing of a new fire truck. Town approval is required under IRS regulations for the Berwyn Heights Volunteer Fire Department to obtain the government interest rate, a lower interest rate than BHVFD can access on their own. A public hearing under IRS §§ 147(f) is required prior to Council action.
