New Redistricting Maps Finalized

Every ten years, county and state legislators re-examine the current voting districts and redistribute (where necessary) voters to balance representation in each area.  As a result of the 2020 Census, changes were made that affect Berwyn Heights.  At the County level, we remain in District 3.  At the State level, we remain in District 22, voting for a state senator and three delegates.  However, at the Federal Congressional level, we have been moved to the open seat in District 4.  The deadline for filing as a candidate was Friday, April 15, 2022, and the deadline for candidates to withdraw is Monday, April 18, 2022.  As a reminder, the primary election has been delayed to July 19.
