Special Youth Edition: Scholarships, Summer Employment and Summer Camps  

District 3 County Councilmember Glaros is providing this annual list of opportunities for residents at: https://myemail.constantcontact.com/Special-Youth-Edition--Scholarships--Summer-Camps-and-Employment.html?soid=1104666780303&aid=ce5oRxtmi20.  Please note that some of these, such as the County's 2022 Summer Youth Enrichment Program, have application deadlines.  The SYEP offers Prince George’s County youth and young adults (ages 14 to 22) enriching and constructive summer work experiences in community organizations, private sector companies, and government agencies.  Applications close on March 31, 2022.  So check out this list sooner than later if you are interested!

WSSC Water “Protect Our Source” High School Art Contest

Maryland Public Schools Strategic Planning Survey 

The Maryland State Board of Education and the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) are drafting a multi-year strategic plan for the future of Maryland's education system. The strategic plan will guide the implementation of the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future.  The survey is open to everyone in Maryland, regardless of current connection to public schools.
