Safety First: Virtual Learning for Students Through Jan. 14

Amid a rise in COVID-19 cases in schools and new quarantine guidance from the Prince George’s County Health Department, CEO Dr. Monica Goldson announced a temporary shift to virtual learning for all students. In-person learning will resume Tuesday, Jan.18, following the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

For this week, breakfast and lunch will be available for pick up at 20 school sites from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on January 5; for 2 days of breakfast and lunch on Thursday, January 6 from 10 a.m. to noon.  The list of schools is available online and it appears that Riverdale Elementary may be the closest location to Berwyn Heights.

After some technical difficulties, the 2021 Culture & Climate Survey is back online!  Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) would like you to share your thoughts on the district's culture and climate.  PGCPS will use the feedback received to ensure that district offerings meet the needs of students, parents, and staff, consistent with the district’s goals.

Your input matters.  If you previously responded to this survey, we would appreciate it if you would complete it again, and apologize for the inconvenience. This survey should take no more than 10-15 minutes to complete.
