Pepco Tree pruning

Tree pruning will take place beginning Monday, July 29th, 2019 on 58th Ave, Berwyn Rd and Ruatan St. During this time portions of the public right of way may be temporarily closed or partially obstructed. Asplundh Tree Expert Company will be conducting this work on behalf of Pepco, as they fulfill requirements mandated by Maryland Regulation RM 43. This regulation requires utilities to prune a minimum of four years of growth. In cases where that would result in pruning 25% or more of a tree, it is required that the entire tree be removed.
