Greenbelt Road 24-inch Transmission Water Main Replacement Project, Updated Work Hours

During the evolving coronavirus outbreak, WSSC Water remains committed to protecting public health and ensuring safe, clean water continues to flow to your homes. As part of the Greenbelt Road 24-inch Transmission Water Main Replacement Project (No. BR6482A18), crews working for WSSC Water are in your area replacing our aging pipes.
To assist with reducing impacts to traffic on Greenbelt Road during the day, WSSC Water will adjust our work hours. The change in work hours begins on Monday, February 22, 2021, occasionally weekend work will be required to complete certain tasks. No work will take place on WSSC Water holidays. In the event of inclement weather, work will not take place. Residents and business owners will be informed regarding additional changes in the work schedule or impacts to your water service. We anticipate this project will be completed by December 2021, weather permitting.
