Emergency Broadband Support and VaxU

Yesterday, Governor Hogan announced a program scholarship program called VaxU, that consists of nine (9) statewide drawings and offers vaccinated residents ages 12-17 a chance to win one of scholarship prizes.  For more information, https://mhec.maryland.gov/Pages/vaxU-scholarship-promotion.aspx

Additionally, the Town would like to highlight the Emergency Broadband Benefit that provides discounts for qualified households towards broadband service.  The Benefit also provides a one time $100 discount on laptops, desktop computer, or tablet from partcipating providers.  For more information, https://www.fcc.gov/broadbandbenefit
