The Backpack Project was a Success!

Members of our community really showed up to contribute to a great cause. The start of the school year and purchasing supplies can really put a strain on some families and educators. This project allowed us to help alleviate some of that. Thanks to generous donations, we were able to supply Berwyn Heights Elementary school with backpacks, notebooks, binders, glue, pencils, pens, erasers, rulers, index cards, crayons, color pencils, sanitizer, paper towels and Kleenex.

Mayor Isler, Mayor Pro Tem Papanikolas and Councilmember Dewey visited the school to wish everyone an amazing school year during last week’s Classroom Sneak Peek.
