Backpack Project Reminder

You have one more week to help make this school year great by donating school supplies to local students and teachers. We are collecting supplies until next Monday, August 19th. What better time to shop for a backpack than now, during the Shop Maryland Tax-Free Week? Whether you are able to fill a backpack full of all the supplies listed or you’re able to donate a couple of items, your contributions will be greatly appreciated!

Shop Maryland Tax-Free Week runs from Sunday, August 11th through Saturday, August 17th. During this time qualifying apparel and footwear $100 or less, per item, are exempt from the state sales tax. Also, the first $40 of a backpack or bookbag purchase is tax-free.
