Weekly Crime Report for 09/23-30/2016

09/23/2016 at 6:30 pm, Cpl. Roberson responded to the 6201 Greenbelt Road for a report of a miscellaneous incident.  A 35 Y/O, B/F was at the location for medical treatment and during a blood drawing procedures, the staff of the facility struck himself with the needle and bled on her.

09/26/2016 at 9:45 pm, Cpl. Roberson responded to the 6000 block of Pontiac Street for a report of a stolen motorcycle.

09/27/2016 at 11:30 am, Cpl. Krouse recovered a stolen 2002 Acura from the location of 60th., Avenue at Ruatan Street.  Investigation revealed that the vehicle was involved in a hit and run which occurred on 09/23/2016.  The owner claims that her vehicle was taken from Washington DC.  Investigation by Cpl. Krouse later revealed that the owner made a false report of her vehicle being stolen because she did not want her boyfriend to get in trouble.  The driver was identified and charged with leaving the scene of an accident.

09/27/2016 at 1:52 am, PG County officers responded to the Checkers fast foot restaurant located at 6251 Greenbelt Road, for a report of a commercial armed robbery.  Upon arrival, the victims advised that they had closed for the night, completed clean up, and were preparing to go home.  Victim opened the door to exit the restaurant.  The suspect grabbed the door as victim  started to exit.  The suspect brandished a silver colored semi-automatic handgun and told victim to go back inside.   The suspect took dollars in bills of various denominations and rolls of change to include gold dollar coins.   The suspect fled on foot, with the money, through the parking lot toward Cunningham Drive.  This case is being investigated by the County Robbery Section.

09/28/2016 at 9:48 am, Cpl. Krouse and the Chief of Police responded to the 5900 block of Natasha Drive for a check on a welfare of a 29 Y/O, W/F that have been sending text messages to a friends indicating that she wanted to commit suicide.  The female was located and transported to the Prince George's Hospital for Evaluation.
