Local Emergency Declared - Effective Friday, March 13

A local declaration of emergency has been signed by Mayor Isler and is effective today, March 13, 2020 at 5 p.m. through March 31, 2020 at 5 p.m.  A local declaration of emergency allows the Town to access resources from other jurisdictions and the State of Maryland, if the need arises.

Pursuant to the governor’s executive order, the Berwyn Heights Senior Center is closed until further notice. All events, public and private, scheduled for Town Center have been canceled through March 31st.

The Berwyn Heights Town Hall and the Police Department administrative office will remain open, but residents are encouraged to, whenever possible, access services electronically, through the mail or via telephone.  The phone number for Town Hall is (301) 474-5000.  The non-emergency phone number for the Police Department communications is (301) 352-1200.  The Police Department phone number for administrative inquiries is (301) 474-6554.  For all emergencies, please call 9-1-1.
