Master Plan of Transportation 2035 Community Meetings 

The Prince George's County Planning Department presents a Countywide Community Engagement Meeting for the Master Plan of Transportation (MPOT) 2035. Join us on either Tuesday, January 25; Wednesday, January 26; or Thursday, January 27, 2022, between 6.00 p.m. to 8 p.m. EST to discuss existing conditions and the future of transportation around the County. All meetings will be conducted in the same manner. Please register for one of the meetings. Do not register for more than one. Prince George's County Heritage Area Boundary Expansion Public Meeting 

Anacostia Trails Heritage Area/Maryland Milestones, Prince George's County's state-certified heritage area, has been studying the feasibility and impact of a boundary expansion since 2019. This initiative will significantly expand their service area for grantmaking, technical assistance, and partnerships.

A public webinar will be held Tuesday, January 25 from 1:00 to 2:30 pm.  All residents, community groups, elected officials, historic sites, museums, institutions, and businesses in Prince George's County and surrounding areas are invited to take part in an upcoming webinar and ask any questions they may have.  You can register for the meeting here.  The webinar will be recorded and posted online.  Additional questions should be directed to info@anacostiatrails.org and they will be answered promptly.
 

School Board Transformation Task Force Listening Session  

The School Board Transformation Task Force is starting the new year ready to continue its important work of helping to build a quality school system that will allow our children to thrive for generations to come. Join the Task Force once again for a listening session on Wednesday, January 19 at 6:00 PM to provide your input regarding the County’s Board of Education.
